Health and Care Professions Council — the statutory regulator for practitioner psychologists. Protects 7 titles including Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, Educational, Health, and Sport Psychologist.
Psychological Society of Ireland — the professional and regulatory body for psychology in Ireland. Registration is voluntary but PSI accreditation is the recognised standard.
The BIG-register (Beroepen in de Individuele Gezondheidszorg) provides statutory registration. NIP (Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen) is the professional body for quality standards.
EuroPsy (European Federation of Psychologists' Associations) sets the standard for supervised practice across 38 countries — including the requirement for 1,500 hours of supervised professional practice.
